What's up? Long time no see!

Random Games Generator | House Hopper |

House Hopper is an engaging yet challenging stylised 3D precision platformer where players must navigate house-themed levels similar to minigolf using precise movements as they leap between house rooms to collect keys for all rooms, find everyday-use objects playable within, and beat your high scores while trying not to fall, crash and burn themselves during gameplay - Jump. Fall. Crash! REPEAT!

House Hopper may still be under development, but I promise I'm getting there! As I add more features and finalize level art for House Hopper, it dawned on me that I hadn't shown enough appreciation to those of you who take time out to play its demo version from time to time - for which I apologize; now knowing better! :)

What has happened since our last meeting? Long time no see!

House Hopper may still be under development, but I promise I am getting closer! While adding features and finalizing level art for House Hopper, I realized that I have not shown enough love towards those of you who try the demo version occasionally. For that, I apologize--I know better :).

As soon as the bathroom level arrives, I am certain you will have more than enough liquids available to you; until then I decided to include water on this demo level so you can practice swimming in a kitchen sink.
As always, I read all of your feedback very closely and take full responsibility for any shortcomings with controls--particularly issues regarding consistency and clarity--that may arise due to my actions. That is why I decided to start over from scratch by designing an entirely new control system from the bottom up; after considering several solutions (and ultimately choosing this one :).

The old system relied heavily on camera angles to determine jump angles; this proved far from ideal as players needed to simultaneously manipulate both camera angles and jump gizmos at once, leading to confusion for all involved.

This new system is no longer limited by a camera; while it still detects which direction is forward based on camera detection, you have complete freedom over where and how far to jump based on an arrow you drag across an empty field in any given area of the game world. Boink away when needed!

I can't wait to read (hear?) your feedback! Use the "bug" button in the menu to share any specific suggestions on what could be improved upon.
