Ofer Rubinstein | Golel |

Golel is an engaging first person rogue-like dungeon crawler featuring turn based actions and tile-based movement, where combat is focused on mobility and using your environment for advantage. Golel boasts an immersive dark fantasy atmosphere. As an unwavering warrior with visions that go far beyond your mortal understanding, you have courageously ventured into territories most people would fear to enter. Along your journey you'll face many hostile creatures and environments as well as some friendly entities who might aid or obstruct in your mission. Each playthrough offers its own set of challenges and rewards; familiar yet new approaches to Dungeon CrawlingYou must use different skills as well as make use of your environment in order to gain an edge and achieve victory. Your strategy might involve tossing book shelves onto an approaching skeleton, kickin' an approaching zombie into spikes, or fleeing through narrow passageways in hopes that monsters do not follow you. Mobility will be essential, as will tactical use of your environment and using mobility tactics effectively to stay alive! Your survival depends upon it!

As promised on November 24th. I present progress updates on decoration, animation equipment and features

With this update, I would like to highlight some changes I have implemented into the game.

At first, let me introduce this Cairn object that can be found in forests.

Dexterously place the small rock onto the cairn. If it passes the test successfully and remains stable, you'll gain mana back; otherwise it falls and your mana disappears again. If it falls instead, mana is lost again.

Dexterity on mana usually requires intelligence; thus I wished to demonstrate using dexterity instead. Furthermore, I wanted to show new armor pieces designed to increase Armor Class as well as equipping animations on weapons.

There is also a ring designed to increase intelligence.

I developed wearable items.

My goal is also to enhance the aesthetics of each level with decorative details and make it clear when gates can be opened mechanically with levers versus when they need to be manually operated by hand.
