Demo upgrade on the horizon

DragonDreams | Epsylon |

Epsylon: Guardians of Xendron transports players on an exciting sci-fi journey across an alien world to investigate an intriguing science-fiction setup. Teaming up with various characters, players investigate (and fight if necessary) through large cases; but ultimately your solution lies within you alone as no single member alone can crack it alone.

Soon to follow will be an improved demo with various changes and additions.

Since our feedback and play testing sessions began, much effort has been invested in updating and refining the game demo version with changes, improvements and additions based on feedback and player testing results. These modifications, upgrades and additions will also be made into an upgraded demo version; although its scope will remain the same some features from its full counterpart will also be integrated.

The upgraded Demo version will be made available sometime during this month; exact availability dates depend on several factors including store presence. Itch.io, Epic Game Store and Microsoft Store will all provide it; unfortunately setting this all up and testing it has taken much longer than anticipated!

Sean will demonstrate her Drifting ability during the demo. This allows her to move around places quickly in different ways and open up alternate paths and solo missions; please watch this video below for the basic mechanics of Drifting.

Tracing functionality has also been refined to better accommodate Georgo's investigation workflow and switchability between both software tools can now bring additional benefits.

Another significant change has been adding support for gamepads. While mouse and keyboard gameplay is optimal for the game, gamepad support now makes playing it possible if desired - technically this would permit game console playback of it, though this platform is currently untargeted by developer plans.

This video of drifting was recorded using a gamepad.
