Rocket on Steam now features a Local Versus Mode; we are working on developing online modes as well.
After taking some time away to work on Drop It: Block Paradise's Versus Mode, I have just added Local Versus mode in Rocket! Get together up to four friends and battle each other until only one remains!
Now that I have completed Local Versus Mode, my plan is to explore Online Game Modes further and hopefully by the end of this month have some ready for display!
Rocket is an arcade style space shooter game inspired by both Atari's classic Asteroids game as well as Bullet Hell/Shoot Em Up games like Bullet Hell / Shoot Em Ups. As you shoot down asteroids and engage enemy ships in combat, resources will accumulate that you will use to upgrade your ship with more powerful weapons and upgrades; but don't forget about any space anomalies such as black holes and supernovas!
Every time you play, work toward upgrading your ship. Each play through builds resources you can use to boost it - giving you an edge when scoring and exploring further! Maximize its power so as to reach higher on online leaderboards!
Get two controllers together for local co-op! Simply put in that extra controller when playing and your pal will join in the fun - together hopefully surviving depths to score high scores?
