Nothing makes a cultural game more engaging than having your voice be part of it! Check back in and help us fill in any blanks!
Hello and welcome back! Today is another article from 3PAStudios and today will delve deeper. In our previous post we discussed what's to come in our demo; now let's dove deeper. As part of cultural games, not only must we remain true to history when making up scenarios but can add our own twist by adding personal details that fit with it.
Events
As mentioned previously, our game aims to incorporate more cultural and historical aspects. These events serve to complement and complete it as a whole.
As we discussed in a prior post, our goal here is to add events of historical and mythical importance along with some tales and legends to create an immersive storyline for these historical accounts.
Filling Gaps
One major difficulty of playing an historical-fiction game lies in our lack of accurate events from history; instead, its interpretation may differ depending on where and who tells it.
At our core, our objective is to turn this negative into something constructive: by filling in gaps with our interpretation in an effort to enhance game design and craft a concise game experience.
Our aim was to honor those who supported and helped us come this far by giving each element of the game its name in memory of those who helped bring about our victory.
