Godsworn is currently making steady progress; below is our development log to show its progress.

Godsworn has been evolving steadily for two months since our last update and we're pleased to show off its progress so far! Nearly finished the Early Access campaign and extremely excited to show everyone what's in store - maps now contain multiple ways of completing each mission and side objectives and secrets which provide ways for players to overcome various challenges you will be presented. Here's some examples: you may capture or destroy enemy trebuchets; convince exiled tribes to reconquer converted towns in exchange for joining as "players", buy war machines from Hansa traders or discover better angles of attack to take down fortified locations.

There are various unique powers and units hidden throughout the campaign that you may discover through glyphs; such as Meness' ability to summon shadow wolves; Gabija as goddess of fire who allows summoning her fire spirits or Giltine's sickle found lost in a swamp; you will uncover these through side objectives or exploring hidden corners on the map.

Not to forget, the campaign can also be experienced co-oply if desired. When playing solo you receive an AI companion to assist your quests; or play as either hero and replay missions with them individually as each hero might offer additional secrets or features in certain locations on the map!

Early Access' first act will depict both the crusades and celestial marriage mythos at their respective inceptions, offering an epic retelling that does not accurately enact either history or legends - although players with an interest in these subjects might recognize a few fun references such as Meinhard or Bear-Slayer from history or folktales!

As part of our overall goals to continually enhance and advance the game, we've also been busy on many other tasks and initiatives. Some highlights of these efforts are: Ausrine-related efforts like her myth unit, special buildings and refining of skills lineup are included here as are last buildings from Order faction, Michael skill passes/refinements as well as numerous minor improvements such as torch throw animations performance optimization as well as adding sounds/particle effects into game - there is still lots to do and improve, yet we are satisfied with continuous improvements seen already made through these processes! Our work continues and improves along these paths;

At our recent milestone of passing 40k wishlist mark, we wanted to acknowledge everyone for cheering for us - in particular our Patreon supporters; your contributions are helping take this game one step further!

Now, as we work tirelessly on development for the coming months and take a short holiday season break, we wanted to wish all our players and followers an awesome Winter Solstice (or summer Solstice for those in the southern hemisphere) early! According to Baltic myth, Winter Solstice marks a time when Sun goddess Saule becomes weakest before celebrations and rituals turn things around, helping her shine brightly again. While winter may have been tough on us personally this winter season, we look forward to sharing games with all of you in 2019.
