Super busy January! My next milestone will be an even larger build containing roughly the first half of Cloudome with all its content (so no-one wastes their time exploring an incomplete world later when content arrives), affectionately known as FP (First Part), as this would provide enough material for an Early Access release (wink wink).

Optional content has been completed for FP, including an upgrade system tied directly to its walking character;

Main puzzles have been designed but neither coded or modeled yet; platforming sections relating to main puzzles also remain incomplete at this time; though placeholders have been placed down for various main structure stuff;

  • FP has completed his world, adding additional geometry and testing hazard zones (i.e. damaging zones);
  • Lighting and skybox adjustments were customized for every area of FP (in highly artistic fashion);
  • Setting up and operating laser guiding lasers;
  • Might've fixed the soft lock landing bug;

Because I spend very little of my dev time live tweeting my process, there may well be lots of details I don't recall at the moment.

Yesterday I desperately tried to have the assumed virtues of my adopted identity co-signed by Non-Permanent Constituencies (NPCs).

Goals for February (also referred to in American parlance as Feb'uary):

  • Main puzzles (at least modeling necessary parts and creating platforming elements of structures; programming puzzles may take until after this month is up);
  • Clearing areas from greybox state (if I somehow finish all main puzzles before month's end).
