Sherman Commander immerses players into an engaging battleground world full of unique strategic challenges and unique battlegrounds that present unique tactical approaches. Ranging from dense urban environments to more open fields, players will encounter terrain requiring different approaches; adapting tactics dynamically keeps opponents guessing while no two battles ever feel the same! Being commander requires considering every inch of battlefield terrain carefully: taking cover provided by urban structures when possible while employing flanking maneuvers against open fields in open terrain as well as positioning units strategically to gain the upper hand against one's adversary!
Barricades cannot be overemphasized as crucial tools of battle, both offensively and defensively. Skilful commanders know exactly how to leverage barricades for maximum effect in their favor.
One of the key aspects of Battlefront 2's design is its dynamic destructible environment - including barricades - as battle rages on. Structures fall, leaving behind remnants that illustrate its intensity - adding both realism and an interactive element, forcing players to change tactics dynamically during combat. This dynamic destructibility adds another dynamic layer to battlefield battles while forcing them to adapt strategies on-the-fly.
Day and night cycles add another level of drama and suspense, shifting visibility as darkness approaches while altering overall atmosphere and adding tension-inducing night battles that put emphasis on reconnaissance and awareness.
