Hope all is going well; today I spent all day Sunday working on Rotten Flesh to accomplish something I never accomplished in any other game: Accomplishments (literally).

First and foremost I would like to extend a huge thank you for supporting and playing my game! Your comments, feedback and criticism is really appreciated - helping a solo developer in so many ways! Please keep them coming.

One of the major components of this update are steam achievements! I spent all day yesterday testing them, and hopefully at last they are working correctly! Thanks to several messages from you lovely folks asking for them, so here they are - initially with basic ones but more may come later as requested by you guys if desired. Please let me know your feedback here or on social media if needed!

  • After years of trying and failing, Steam Achievements were finally added (Yay!).
  • Rats can no longer attack through lockers; however they still pose a threat when hidden beneath tables as they have access to those areas and could reach you directly.
  • Corrected some performance issues which caused TAB press lag to affect game.
  • Please add/remap pistol icon due to an issue which was showing different guns sometimes.
  • Issues were resolved regarding walls you can walk through within the game.
  • Fixes have been implemented for various discordant textures.
  • Fixed an issue where monsters wouldn't spawn after saving.
  • Fixed more flashing textures on the map.
  • Addition of new decals and props around the map in order to add extra detail and fill it out more.
  • Increase lantern's light source for increased viability.
  • Reduced the volume of some jumpscare sounds that were too loud.
  • Corrected issues where, upon death, users couldn't use their controller.
  • Resolution for issue where player could fall out of map unexpectedly
  • Updated several sounds and effects.
  • Hearing range of enemy has been reduced from 150 to 85 for radius range.
  • All changes have been synchronized across both modes.

As always, let me remind you about "NO JUMPSCARE MODE," which disables only loud sudden jumpscares while leaving important and scripted ones intact - thus not altering your overall gaming experience much at all - simply without loud sudden jumpscares appearing randomly sometimes. The NO JUMPSCARE MODE should have no major negative ramifications on gameplay at large and provides mostly the full experience minus just these loud random ones that arise randomly sometimes.

Let me know if any bugs arise; I really value all your efforts and truly value all your contributions -- from comments, videos and feedbacks -- so thank you and may your day be great. :) Y'all are simply incredible. :)
