What is New Lands?

New Lands is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG)

· Will there be a monthly fee to play the game?

At the moment there will not be a fee but this could change'

· How many players will it support?

At the moment we can't tell but it will be lots!

· Will I be able to have a house?

Yes you can buy a house or a shop and sell your own items with NPC sales men for when your not there or offline'

· What about pets or henchmen?

Both will be included, with types and skins many to choose from' Each pet has it own AI, allowing them to follow you and attack whatever you attack'

· What races are there?

Human, Elf, Dwarf, Gnome,Orc and zombies are the main ones but there are lots more'

· Is there Player vs' Player support?

In some zones but not in others i'e' There is no PvP in towns'

· What types of weather is there?

Included in the first verson of the game there will be rain, snow, fog, storms , wind each with their own high quality sound effects'

· Can I play New Lands on a mac?

At the moment you can't but maybe in the future'

· What forms of currency will there be?

There will be Platinum, Gold, Silver and Copper each worth a 100x times the one below ie' 100 copper = 1 gold

· Can you attack NPCs/shopkeepers?

Some NPC's can be attacked but shopkeepers cannot'

· Do NPCs remember if you talked to them before?

Yes they do'

· Minimum System Requirements

Windows System 2000/XP OS:
Intel Pentium III 800 MHz or AMD Athlon 800 MHz
512 MB or more of RAM
32 MB 3D graphics card with Hardware Transform and Lighting, such as NVIDIA GeForce 2 class card or above
DirectX 9'0c
2'0 GB available HD space
A 56k or better Internet connection
